Catherine Keech


Coach Keech (Maiden name Cline) is an avid indoor, grass and beach volleyball player, who started at a very young age playing club volleyball and has over 15 years playing and coaching experience. 
She started playing for Palm Beach Juniors/Club 4-U 1993-2000 where she participated in many State and National Qualifiers. In 2000 she was invited to try out for the AAU National team. 

In 2000 She received a full scholarship to play 2 years at Pasco-Hernando Community College (New Port Richey, FL) as a DS and Outside Hitter. The Conquistadors qualified for Nationals (11th place) and were 2nd in the state both years. In 2000-01 she was All Tournament Team. In 2001-02 she was team MVP, All-American Nominee, All-Conference, All-State/Region and All-Tournament Team (5 times). She averaged 8 digs per game before the Libero position was used in college.
In 2002 she was recruited by Florida State University as a libero and played 2 years. She graduated in 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. 

Coach Keech has been a clinician with numerous volleyball camps and clinics thorough the years and was the associate head coach of the 17 Fortius team in 2009, our most successful team yet. 
She continues to play indoor/grass volleyball circuits and currently is also in charge of Synergy’s Adult professional teams.
