How is team placement and team size ?

Team Size :
We will only have one team in each of the age divisions over 15. It will have the best coaches , and we want the best players on it.
Practice Players :
We will have a maximum of 3 practice player positions on our each of our teams. At tryouts you can tell us you would like to be considered for one of those. Only after the team roster is full , will we add practice players to the teams. Practice player positions are $500 for a full season. A practice player does not attend any tournaments.
Team Placement :
Another major concern for many players and parents is team placement. We can assure you that the tryout system we use is very fair and accurate. There will be players who are on the border between being placed on a higher or lower team. If a player is a number 7,8, or 9 player on the team, they could be the number 1,2, or 3 player on the next team.
There are advantages to playing on a lower team, more playing time, being one of the top players verses the lower players, self-esteem, etc.
Our entire coaching staff evaluates each player and a committee makes placement decisions. Teams from previous years are not necessarily kept together, each year talent is re-evaluated.
